About this scheme

PMAY-U 2.0 'Housing for All' Mission provides financial assistance to 1 crore urban poor and middle-class families to construct, purchase, or rent a house at an affordable cost. The scheme is implemented through four verticals: Beneficiary Led Construction, Affordable Housing in Partnership, Affordable Rental Housing, and Interest Subsidy Scheme.

Eligibility

Families belonging to EWS/LIG/MIG segments, having no pucca house anywhere in the country.

Benefits

Financial assistance to 1 crore families; Central assistance of up to ₹2.50 lakh crore provided under the scheme.
